It's easy though isn't it to slip into generalized assumptions about things, for example the BBC who you quote extensively is a government sponsored (or maybe socialist to some) media empire, so rather than corporate lackies following governments agenda they are government lackies following what? I guess maybe they're socialist and the ultimate 'liberal' media. All said in good fun, but i hope i make a point. We are all conditioned in our thinking and beliefs and on the whole it makes perfect sense to us and is naturally justified, so we notice what corroborates our existing beliefs.
