The Art and Science of Synchronicity Investigates 11:11 and 11-11-11

Westerners have a fascination with certain numbers and November 11th, 2011 or 11-11-11 is a prime example of Western numerological mystique.  The number seven is thought to be lucky and the number 13 unlucky, but what about the number 11 or more precisely 11:11 and now 11-11-11.

Eleven-eleven came into the public mind field in the early 90′s when a woman named Solara popularized the number set 11:11 among the New Age community. And now it seems that everybody has an 11:11 story to tell including myself. In fact I’ve already told my story in three different articles. Links to those articles are further down.

There are various schools of numerology and it seems that every culture has its own number philosophy.  But is there any truth to the beliefs that certain numbers have special qualities and meanings or is it all based on superstition? I can’t say I’ve looked thoroughly into every numerological system, but what I’ve seen looks more like arbitrary constructions reflecting the tastes and untested beliefs of each school of numerology   In other words universalized meaning is lacking among the different numerological systems except for perhaps the numbers 1, 2, 4 and 5.

Most cultures will agree on the following numerical attributes; 1 stands for unity, birth, beginnings and 2 for duality, symmetry, polarity and complimentarity. The number 4 is most commonly associated with the 4 cardinal directions, the 4 states of matter and the 4 fundamental forces of the cosmos.

The number 5 represents the human being and vertebrate life in general—all having 4 limbs and a trunk. Five also represents the center point and the 4 cardinal directions as in the principle of radiance. The center point many be seen as the trunk and the 4 directions as the limbs. But once we get out beyond those 4 numbers, universally ascribed attributes are less and less common.

IT’S ABOUT TIME !

The number set 11:11 is derived from a Gregorian calendar date and clock time as in the 11th day of the 11th month and as in the 11th minute of the 11th hour. Modern digital clocks are responsible for the ubiquity of 11:11, but are there reasons for why people report seeing that number more than any other number? In my first article on the subject entitled the 11:11 Enigma Demystified by the Science of Synchronicity I gave a few reasons as to why 11:11 is noticed and reported on more so than other numbers.

Some mundane explanations for why 11:11 is frequently reported on are found in part 1. But in part 2 entitled The 11:11 Phenomena Decoded,I talk about more esoteric

and theoretical reasons as to why 11:11 has captured the imagination and attention of so many people.

In part two I give examples of how the numbers 11 and 11:11 are intimately related to the 2012 phenomena, the Maya Long count cycle renewal date of 12-21-12 and the Maya-Meso-American Calendrical system (MMAC) in general.

As mentioned earlier the number set 11:11 is based on clock and calendar time. Meaning that 11:11 has something to do with time, and calendars are all about time. First and foremost calendars are counting systems.

Systems that track the number of days in a given cycle such as the moon’s 29 day cycle and the year’s 365 day cycle etc. One is apt to think that timing systems might be able to tell us something about the significance of 11:11 since it’s based on time keeping systems.

That would be a logical place to start, but the West’s Gregorian calendar and 24 hour clock don’t come with a numerological philosophy. But MMAC does and in particular the tzolkin calendar which underpins the entire MMAC system.

The tzolkin calendar as per the Arguellen Account (AA-Tzolkin) comes with a fixed and standardized numerological philosophy and structure that allows for empirical testing. And so far it’s passed all of the tests I’ve put it through over the last 11 years. I’ve yet to publish every test result and test method, but I believe I’ve published enough examples to provoke the curiosity of all, but the most skeptical.

Empirical testing removes inherent and encultured human biases from test results. Empirical validation is what separates a belief, a delusion or a purely theoretical construct from a universal fact of nature.  A universal or scientific fact is then an evidenced based result that has been determined to be universally valid regardless of one’s beliefs.

The foundational belief underlying all numerological systems is that numbers represent the language of the cosmos. Decipher the language of the cosmos and you decipher the mind of God so to speak. There is indeed a numerical order to the movements and to the very structure of the cosmos.  The ancient Mesoamericans left us with what seems to be a complete numerical account of the heaven’s movements insofar as our solar system and galaxy are concerned.

While modern science has given us the numerical structure of the cosmos in the form of the periodical table of elements, the structure of the atom and its sub-atomic composition. But what can such numbers tell us about the world we inhabit and experience in a such a way as to give meaning if any. Atomic science doesn’t offer us a philosophy of number, but MMAC does.

The AA tzolkin calendar comes with a coherent number philosophy. A philosophy we can then apply to real world events for purposes of verification. As I’ve mentioned in other articles the tzolkin cycle calendar seems to embody universal timing constants.

Timing constants that the ancient Mesoamericans discovered while studying the movements (cycles) of the heavens and their immediate environment.  They discovered that numbers are as much about quality as they are about quantity.

DOES 11-11-11 MEAN ANYTHING?

And what does tzolkin cosmology have to say about 11-11-11 if anything.  What I am about to share will have more meaning once you’ve reviewed parts one and two of The 11:11 Enigma Decoded.

Every day of the solar year is governed or coded by what I refer to as an archetypal number family and there are 5 archetypal number families within tzolkin cosmology. The 11th of November is coded by archetypal family number 2 and family number 2 has been designated in my work on tzolkin cosmology as the archetypal family of overt and repetitive synchronicity.

The entire body of tzolkin cosmology is nothing less than the matrix of synchronicity, but archetypal family number 2 stands out because days coded by that family are more prone to overt and repetitive types of synchronicity. Eleven-eleven-eleven counts as a repetitive synchronicity wouldn’t you say?

The day itself (11-11-11) is coded by tzolkin date kin 62 and it can be numerically expressed in the following way; tone 10, sequential archetype 2 and archetypal guide 10 (k:10-2-10) and so that means that 11-12-11 is coded by tone 11, sequential archetype number 3 and archetypal guide 3 or k:11-3-3.  And there we have the number 11 and the number 3 as in eleven 3 times. Both sets of tzolkin date numbers have repetitive numbers.  Proximity is a very telling feature within tzolkin cosmology. One might think that it would be more synchronistically meaningful if 11-11-11 would have coincided instead with tzolkin dates having the number 11.

Intuitively that would seem so, but tzolkin cosmology is as much holographic, resonant and fractal as it is sequential. If I hadn’t told you about the properties of archetypal family number two then you might have said close, but no cigar. But as you can see the principle of repetitiveness is shared by the tzolkin date associated with 11-11-11— as is the day after. Just look at the tweets that came in as I was writing about 11-11-11, synchronicity and the MMAC system

The day before 11-11-11 was tzolkin date kin 61 or k:9-1-17. Sequential archetype 17 belongs to archetypal family number 2 and it was the guiding archetype on the day  I started the article you are now reading on the synchronicity of 11-11-11.

Now back to the properties of archetypal family number two. Overt synchronicities are the type we are all accustomed to experiencing. And repetitive themes, images and numbers seen throughout the day are bound to draw our attention. In other words one needn’t know the tzolkin code to detect overt and repetitive synchronicities. But what we don’t know about such synchronicities is their deeper meaning.

Tzolkin cosmology tells us about the deeper meaning of synchronistic events.  Knowledge of the tzolkin code allows us to see how every aspect of our world is synchronized according to a sequence and pattern of themes and numbers as described by the AA-tzolkin cycle code.

I am compelled to give one final example being that the December 21st 2012 or 12-21-12 was thrust in my face as I was preparing this article. As you can see 12-21-12 is full of repetition. What might its AA-tzolkin date be?  December 21st, is also coded by archetypal family number 2 and December 21st 2012 is going to coincide with tzolkin date kin 207 or k:12-7-19 or tone 12m sequential archetype 7 and guiding archetype 19.
