Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President of the United States and founding member of the US. constitution had the following to say about the condition of the mass media of his age.
“The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers.”
and “The advertisement is the most truthful part of a newspaper”

I agree the situation looks dismal. But there are trends developing that could very well force those people to pull their heads out and take notice.

Thank you! Unfortunately 90% of the US population will never see the light of day. This is no longer a country ruled by the people and for the people. The elected rulers here are chosen and placed outside the public voting system. We are now governed by a puppet who is ruled by the pockets of big business corporations. There is no truth in the mainstream media. The public is told what they want us to believe. If you want the truth you must read news not published or broadcast within the USA.
You could write an encyclopedia on the denseness of the US citizen, not even a reasonable facsimile of what the founding fathers of this country had in mind when they risked their lives in the American Revolution. Ignorance is no excuse and handouts have cost this country the freedom we were once granted. Simply because modern humanity has no understanding or connection to the fact that history not minded will without a doubt repeat itself. Instead of being intelligent, Americans plan their life around the next airing of SURVIVOR and waste their independence on the worship of of stupidity.
