The Maya may have not left any idea of what was to happen in 2012 but they seeded the consciousness with enough energy to make it to now. The 2012 "phenomena" is just making it through the mass consciousness coming out in the form of sensationalism ~ and competition to race to who's "right". Media frenzy call it. The medium is the message is what Marshall McLuhan called it. The message is mostly fear. I'm no scientist ~ though I did study the sciences long ago, I'm merely a woman in the 21st Century. Women in the 21st Century are pretty much the bottom of the barrel. Unless you didn't notice. The patriarchy (call it capitalism, whatever) has dominated so long we have barely any idea of what is true anymore. Time is money as dominated our culture that artists create art for money too Think of it. It's crazy. That's why so many people are feeling crazy right now. Many of them take drugs to feel balanced and to keep from going crazy. They are numbing themselves to make it through these days. Other lines in that song go like this "paranoia strikes deep, into your heart it will creep, it starts when you're always afraid, step out a line the man comes and takes you away". . . as good a prophecy as I've ever heard. What did the Buffalo Springfield know in 1967? They must'v been shamans too. Bob Dylan's been singing about time for a long while . . . his albums ~ Modern Times and many more examples. Listen to his lyrics, they are pretty profound. Listen to Leonard Cohen's "the Future" written in the 90's ~ especially "closing time". . . it's funny. Thing is, Dear Kin, we can't lose our sense of humor. Listen to the Earth. Go out into Nature. Watch the birds and animals, even the insects.
