This is a series of talks by Dr. Rima Laibow MD, from the Natural Solutions Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating people about how to stop Codex Alimentarius from taking away our right to freely choose nutritional health.

How To Destabilize Countries Covertly: Economic Terrorism Part 1
Today, we spend the hour with a man who claims to have worked deep inside the forces driving corporate globalization.
In his first book, Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, John Perkins told the story of his work as a highly paid consultant hired to strong-arm leaders into creating policy favorable to the US government and corporations, what he calls the “corporatocracy.”
John Perkins says he helped the US cheat poor countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars by lending them more money than they could possibly repay and then taking over their economies.
John Perkins has just come out with his second book on this issue. It’s called The Secret History of the American Empire: Economic Hit Men, Jackals and the Truth about Global Corruption.
John Perkins joins us now in the firehouse studio. Well, before we go further, “economic hit men”—for those who haven’t heard you describe this, let alone describe yourself as this, what do you mean? length 10 min

Past Feature Presentations
Christopher Vogler Author of “The Writers Journey” Mr. Vogler comments on the Mono-myth( The Hero’s Journey) according to Joseph Campbell. Mr. Vogler uses scenes from the movie The Matrix to illustrate the 12 stages undertaken by those on a quest. Length 4 min.
The clip traces the definitive stages of a transformative life, in which the person in question rejects any number of inherited cultural assumptions, values and norms.
As a consequence the non-conforming individual finds themself on journey of discovery both within and without.
The mavericks quest is to find the answers to the questions ones culture could not answer
satisfactorily. It seems that the “Hero’s Journey” was of rather great importance to most if not all human cultures.
Joseph Campbell derived the 12 stages from his life’s work on comparative religion or the comparative study of pre-literate mytho-symbolic ideologies.
The 12 stages apply to all of our lives in varying degrees. One could be dealing with a life threatening health condition, another is looking start an enterprise and yet another is looking to solve some scientific mystery. Whatever the challenge or quest maybe–mythologizing our lives is what Joseph Campbell encouraged when he said “follow your bliss”. The application is universal, but the circumstances are as unique as each individuals life.
The 12 Stages of a Transformative Life:
1. The Disturbance or Crisis: The events which thrust the individual in question into uncharted terrain.
2. The Call to Action: Something must be done in response to the disturbance or crisis, but what?
3. Indecision or Refusing the Call: Combating the fear of radical change or fear of the unknown.
4.The Guiding Element: Overcoming Fear-Indecision: – The internal and or external element which encourages and provides support.
5. Crossing the First Threshold: Commitment to the ideal via action. The individual is now in uncharted territory.
6. Navigating the New Terrain: Who is with me and who is against me on this adventure. Exploring the new country
7. Approach to the Inmost Cave of the self. The individual resolves the illusion of duality-polarity and in doing so vanquishes internal psychic conflict.
8. The Ordeal: A process the individuals endures. Once though the ordeal the individual emerges with greater abilities or knowledge
9. The Ultimate Boon or Reward: The individual is now equipped to claim what he or she had set out to do from the onset.
10. The Reluctant Return: Stages one through eight have been trying enough. Now the individual must contend once again with the same social setting that helped spur ones original departure. Only now he or she is even more sensitized and all too aware of the magnitude of the challenge that awaits upon return.
11. The Crossing of the Return Threshold. The final obstacles to social reintegration into are overcome and the individual is finally ready to share he or she has to offer.
12. Return with the Elixer: Boon delivered. Mission accomplished.
For those of you not aware I published an article on The 12 Most Remarkable Women of the 20th century. An introduction to 12 real life Heroines.
Introduction to The Future of Food

12 year old Severn Cullis Suzuki stuns the World
Born and raised in Vancouver, Severn Suzuki has been working on environmental and social justice issues since kindergarten.
At age 9, she and some friends started the Environmental Children’s Organization (ECO), a small group of children committed to learning and teaching other kids about
environmental issues.
They traveled to 1992’s UN Earth Summit, where 12 year-old Severn gave this powerful speech that deeply affected (and silenced) some of the world’s most prominent leaders.
The speech had such an impact that she has become a frequent invitee to many UN conferences. Length: 7 min
