The Achilles Heel of Society and the Kings of Exploitation

The Underlying Social Condition Involved in the Enablement of Exploitation

Acts of manipulation and deception exploit certain fundamental and universal social condition’s found existing in all societies.

And then the burden of exploitation is compounded in some cultures when deliberate measures (culture specific practices) are devised to cement and insure the success of exploitive strategies such as tax laws and countless other legislated devices, ie. patent laws, subsidies and government privilege etc.

Who is the Socially Empowered Governor Class?

The governor class is comprised of executive, judicial and legislative officials and their support system. They are socially empowered because they control the law making and enforcing capacity of a nation lobbyists lobby, lobbyinggroup.

They not only command and direct the people, but they also engineer the social order (via lawmaking ability) to accommodate their goals.

Everyone else not a member of this group is then subject to the brunt of the governing powers. It is no longer possible to speak of politicians and lawmakers without speaking about the corporate class.

The two are so thoroughly intertwined so as to be practically indistinguishable from each other. Therefore, I use the term US-GORP or GovCorp to properly identify the entity holding the reigns of power in the US.

US-GORP is academically known as a Plutocracy–governance via the moneyed relationships which exist between political officials and the private sector, or rule by the alliance of the rich and politically powerful.[10]

When I use the term governor class I also mean the involvement of the corporate class in the crafting and passing of legislation as well as their “election” to political office (Bush-Cheney).

Who is the Socially Disempowered Subject class?

The subject class is socially disempowered because the mechanics and means of social leadership have been monopolized by the colluding forces of establishment politics and corporate titans. The socially disempowered class is comprised of those who are neither part of the governor or corporate class.

society-at-the-mercy-of-a-single-manTherefore the subject class is effectively shut off from having more than a token say in matters involving social policy.

Modern Western democracy is an illusion of fairness.

The current version of Western democracy insures the socially empowered (established governor class) prosper and the socially disempowered remain impotent.[1]

Secrecy, censorship deception and the skillful use of language and image enables US-GORP to make the voters think as if they were actually looking out for their interests.

How long has this racket been going on?  Western Civilization is approximately 5500 years old. The income gap grows larger every day. In fact the system is regrouping and restructuring to make its stranglehold even tighter.

Please bear in mind that while we may have a “Democratic” administration promising “change” it was under the auspices of the last Democratic administration (Clinton) which saw the income of the top 10 percent almost double while the support base of the Democratic party saw its fortunes plummet or stay the same[12]

Bet not on President Obama to make any significant changes. The financial sector and the law makers behind the regulations and deregulations which enabled the financial crisis merit imprisonment under the terms of their own laws.[14]maze-matrix-labryinth

However, due to the mind blowing complexity of big government and big business interrelationships the public is too ill informed to see through all of the smoke screens put up by the governor and corporate classes.[16]

And what has President Obama’s response been to the racketeering banksters, but more handouts and a few slaps on the wrist. That will certainly curb their ways.

“Politics are a labyrinth without a clue.”

John Adams 2nd President of the United States

If politics was a maze “without a clue” over 200 years ago at the inception of the United States what must it be today?

The Primary Social Imbalance

The socially empowered governor class exploits a social condition I refer to as the primary social imbalance.

Yes the two images are related. Capitalism has enslaved, raped and pillaged africa for the last 400 years. And for the last 50 year US-GORP has stuffed our garages with junk and our bodies with gunk.

Capitalism exaggerates the primary social imbalance balance. Yes the two images are related. Capitalism has enslaved, raped and pillaged Africa for the last 400 years. And for the last 50 years. US-GORP has stuffed our garages with junk and our bodies with gunk.

The primary social imbalance (PSI) pertains to the unequal distribution of knowledge and acquired ability in a given society

Some individuals/groups have greater knowledge than others and some individuals/groups have acquired greater abilities than others and some have both. This situation is natural and to be expected.

There are however, a couple of different cultural approaches to the reality of the PSI.

How the West Won and Lost

Western Civilization is built upon a merciless predatory and parasitic[13] approach to economics!

Slavery, sweat shops, minimum wage, usury, taxation, induced consumerism and economic militarism[15] are all examples of predatory and parasitic economic strategies.

These strategies form the foundation and pillars of Western Civilization!!!

The foregoing is the very meaning of capitalism and the governor class’s brutal policy of exploitation as an economic and social governing strategy.

The Humane Approach to the Primary Social Imbalance

Some Native Americans on the other hand developed the Potlatch custom[3] in order to deal with PSI and the natural inequities inherent in human biology and resource distribution.

The periodic and humane redistribution of wealth prevents instances like the one in the above picture. The US gov. suppressed the Potlatch custom of the Native Americans. It is a dangerous idea much like socialism.

The periodic and humane redistribution of wealth prevents exaggeration of and mimimizes distortion of the primary social imbalance . Who were and continue to be the real savages?

The Potlatch or the periodic redistribution of wealth insures that no one in particular becomes too economically powerful and that the weakest members do not suffer or needlessly go without.

The philosophy of the Potlatch was opposed by the Western governor class and was actively suppressed by the US government during the invasion of the Americas[3].

The Kings of Exploitation

Who are the real savages?

The situation of the primary social imbalance has been exploited in Western culture ever since its foundations were laid over 5000 years ago.

The imbalances in the system are reflected in the gross inequities exploitation-at-workreflected in the“widening income gap”[1],

the gross and violent exploitation of weaker nations around the globe and in the policies involving the bailout of the largest corporations on the planet.

These economic imbalances are not based on merit of those who prosper, but on the socio-economic engineering schemes (tax laws, business deregulation/regulations, patents, subsidies, etc) of the governor class.[2]

The current economic crisis is primarily a crisis for the bottom 90 percent or those making less than $100,000 per year. The top 9 percent or those making above $100,000 have taken a small tumble, but the top one percent is laughing all the way to the bank.

The top 1 percent saw their earnings almost double during the 1990′s[12] and they did see their earnings double during the Bush years. [2]

The modest incremental gains of the lower 4/5s reflects the bone thrown at us to keep from revolting. The huge gains of the top 1/5 can only be achieved via the economic engineering schemes (tax-finance laws, regulations & deregulation and where gov. spends our money) I keep referring to.

The modest incremental gains of the lower 4/5s reflects the bone thrown at us to keep from revolting. The huge gains of the top 1/5 can only be achieved via the economic engineering schemes (tax-finance laws, regulations & deregulation and where gov. spends our money) I keep referring to.

The bailout plan is nothing more than a scheme to keep the wealth in the hands of the few. They are after all being handed billions of dollars with little oversight and no lengthy, highly scrutinized loan application process. I mean….under their own rules they would not qualify for a loan.

People who have declared bankruptcy do not get loans. Yet the very same institutions who penalize others for bankruptcy are being rewarded with loans financed by you and I !!!

Is anybody else’s head spinning? I can’t believe I just wrote what I did, but that is the reality of what is transpiring right before our eyes.

The economic gains of the top 1 percent are the results of the finely honed, but occult art of economic engineering as practiced by the governor class.

Here is what one of the most respected economists of recent times has to say about our money system.

“The study of money, above all other fields in economics, is one in which complexity is used to disguise truth or to evade truth, not to reveal it.”

—   Money: Whence it came, where it went  – 1975, p15 –John Kenneth Galbraith, Economist, Former US Economic adviser, once President of the American Economic Association, Harvard and Princeton Professor, Author and former US Ambassador to India.

Those of the socially disempowered class will remain as such until the truth of their oppression is revealed and acknowledged on a mass scale.

Case in point

Anyone following the mainstream coverage of the financial crisis will note that it took comedian slash pretend news anchor Jon Stewart all about six minutes to utterly discredit the NBC corporately authorized rantings of Wall Street cheerleader Jim Cramer.

Stewart’s disrobing of Cramer stung so much that the CEO of NBC even made a public address replete with lame responses to the thorough thrashing Cramer received at the hands of Jon Stewart.[8]

The discrediting of Cramer revealed that he and his employer NBC are nothing more than cheerleaders for the losing, but winning team of Wall Street con-men. NBC has been doing it’s part limit the damage resulting from the tar and feathering of Cramer.[9]

The mainstream media is the mouth piece of the governor class. The mainstream media is owned by corporations (corporate class) who are very friendly to and dependent on the governor class for lucrative government contracts and alike.[11] Let’s look at just one example

General Electric Corp.(GEC) owns 80 percent of NBC universal.[5]

The GEC media empire is comprised of 38 major television broadcast studios.[7]

GEC has been awarded 7.5 billion in government contracts since 2003.[4]

GEC is also the the most corrupt of all the corporations doing business with the government.[6]

Rupert Murdoch owner of the Infotainment Fox news and the New York Times also unleashed his attack dogs on Jon Stewart for, as one journalist put, “doing research”.

Doing investigative research is not what most if us do, but some of us do and we do so with the intentions of exposing the truth about the current state of affairs.

The redistribution of knowledge so critical to the redress of our social, economic and environmental plights is taking place right before your eyes.

The demise of newspapers cannot happen fast enough.  The demise of televised news must follow if we are to free ourselves from the clutches of the criminal governor class.

Please do your part to help accelerate this process by boycotting corporate news and by actively promoting and supporting alternative sources of news and information.

“Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own Governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives.”

– James Madison 4th US President and founding member of the United States  [Inscription on the Library of Congress]

I couldn’t agree more and find it appalling to see how complacent the general populace has become, anesthetized as it were, by “reality television” and other starstruck obsessions.

Back in 2003 I cited (in a similar paper) Sub-Commandante Marcos, charismatic leader of the Zapatista Army for National Liberation (EZLN) in Mexico, who wrote:

“The ineptly-named cold war actually reached very high temperatures: from underground workings of international espionage to the interstellar space of Ronald Reagan’s famous “Star Wars”; from the sands of the Bay of Pigs in Cuba to the Mekong Delta in Vietnam; from the frenzy of the nuclear arms race to the vicious coups d’état in Latin America; from the menacing maneuvers of NATO armies to the machinations of the CIA agents in Bolivia, where Che Guevara was murdered. The combination of all this led to the socialist camp being undermined as a world system, and to its dissolution as a social alternative. The third world war showed the benefits of “total war” for its victor, which was capitalism. In the post-cold war period we see the emergence of a new planetary scenario in which the principal conflictual elements are the growing importance of no-man’s-lands (arising out of the collapse of the Eastern bloc countries), the expansion of a number of major powers (the United States, the European Union and Japan), a world economic crisis and a new technical revolution based on information technology.”

We are surely now in the midst of the Fourth World War – a war to determine who controls the means of communication and the flow of information. So far, the internet still belongs to the people, but there are growing threats to it from GovCorp. The sad irony of the matter is, that the grand majority of those whose very freedoms are at stake, are as yet largely unaware of the impending chaos that is likely to result from their own ignorance and inaction.

I personally believe that this is what 2012 is truly all about, because people can’t possibly become enlightened overnight. It will probably be a rude sociological awakening that could get a lot worse, before it gets any better.

Peace be with you (and all of us for that matter).

We see the same process unfolding but the planetary system has a surprise for those who would like to control the affairs of the planet indefinitely. The main part of that surprise is that the world is now replete with millions of Gandhi’s, MLK’s, Che’s, Neo’s and Trinity’s who are onto their game and we seek nothing less than a stop to business as usual.

This article has oversimplified matters and distorted examples in some portions; how do I know? Because I spent an entire year studying nothing but the Northwest Pacific Coastal Native Americans for my 300-page graduate thesis in art history (Kwakiutl, Tlingit, Tsimshian, Chilkat, etc.:), and have read hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of pages on the potlatch cultural phenomenon to which the site refers, and I would never characterize it as the author does, “a periodic redistribution of wealth”—and neither would the expert ethnographers having studied them, most famously Franz Boaz, who lived amongst the natives for years and even created a written alphabet for the preliterate tribes, in order to record and preserve their oral histories and document their customs.

For example, the author of the site captions the potlatch photo: “The periodic and humane redistribution of wealth prevents exaggeration of and minimizes distortion of the primary social imbalance.” This is a gross mischaracterization of the potlatch, which actually involved a ceremonial attestation of social superiority of the hosts, which was intended to exaggerate their status as being powerful and wealthy enough to host lavish feasts.

There was nothing humane intended behind the practice, which was a mechanism by which the natives cemented hierarchical order and status in their immediate governance systems; leaders would borrow heavily from tribe members in an effort to outdo the rival tribe, and the practice involved one tribe shaming the other by the host lavishing “gifts” on the guests, which spurred a cycle of the rival tribe inviting the original host to a potlatch in which the gifts were even more lavish, to restore honor and to shame the rival, whom would perpetuate the cycle.

In fact, the rituals involved intentionally wasteful spending to demonstrate that one was wealthy enough to be reckless with one’s possessions; copper is a valuable commodity in potlatch communities, and chiefs would break off pieces of copper and burn them, and burn oil in excessive amounts, or destroy canoes and blankets, just to demonstrate that they could afford to be reckless spenders as a means of shaming their rivals into eventual poverty. If anything, the practice was intended to grossly expand and ensure the social imbalance, by showcasing the great divide in economic disparity as a means of establishing political status and clout.

Capitalism is not the villain, villains utilizing capitalism are—and, what? Communism hasn’t given us murderous, oppressive, greedy, plutocratic usurpers? Sheesh! Capitalism is no more responsible for social injustices than knives and guns are for murders; it is the murderers whom are culpable, not the tools.

We are talking about two things here. One is the Potlatch custom as an economic model and the other as it was practiced. Any model can be corrupted without the proper controls. I am not saying that certain ethnic groups are beyond corruptible. I am saying that the basic principle of redistribution of wealth bodes well for those societies that practice it.

You offer many examples in which the Potlatch custom has been degraded. I would think that there are also examples were its practice may be considered more noble or egalitarian. I would also have to inquire of the time period covered by your data. European culture is well known for its savagely disruptive effects on other cultures. Not that other cultures can’t express savagery but one would have to factor for the extent of European impact on the study subject. An accurate study would look at examples of “before European contact and “after European contact.

On Western economics:

The Western economic system can only be described as system designed to favor the designers. There are other models besides the sham system the West now uses.
I cannot tell you what our best option is, but I can tell you that whatever the system it must serve the common good.

A comprehensive expose´ of the people and organizations and the policies they promote. We live a world where the ruthless few exploit the innocent and the unwary many. Economic exploitation is the life blood of big time Western economics. Organized warfare secures the raw materials and serfs needed to sustain bloated profit margins.
